Problem/Suggestion: Our receipt printer has a nice option to pop out 2 copies of the receipt. We will retain 1 copy of the receipt as an added control, at least until the cash is balanced and signed off by the manager. We will have a retention policy for these receipt copies, likely until the fiscal year closes. The 2 enhancements will be used as a security measure to protect the integrity of the cash both from the cashiers point of view and the clubs, and gives both customer and club a clear picture of what happened during the transaction just in case there is a question. And ultimately, if the club burns down and our offsite backups are completely lost, our accountant (offsite also ) will have a paper trail
